Accounting Team Lead Nordic & Baltic Countries - shaping future accounting operations

As the Accounting Team Lead, you'll oversee operations across the Nordic and Baltic regions, ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance. You’ll drive process improvements, collaborate with key stakeholders, and leverage SAP to enhance efficiency. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of accounting operations across these regions.

Selected key responsibilities:

• Provide input to the auditor, ensure accurate data for the international accounting department in Germany, support tax compliance, and ensure adherence to local and international standards.
• Lead and support the accounting teams in Copenhagen and Vilnius, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Streamline operations, implement best practices, and drive efficiency across the regions.
• Maintain strong relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Safeguard financial integrity by overseeing internal controls and ensuring GDPR compliance.

You will report directly to the Executive Head of Controlling for the Nordics and Baltics, collaborating closely with internal teams, the international accounting department in Germany.

Your expertise and leadership in Global Finance
You have a strong background in accounting or finance, with at least a bachelor’s degree, and ideally a master’s or auditing experience. Your expertise spans international environments and managing accounting operations across multiple countries or regions. You have solid knowledge of financial reporting, corporate structures, and consolidation processes, as well as understanding transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.

As a natural leader, you thrive in developing and motivating teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high standards of compliance and financial integrity. You communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and you have a keen eye for optimizing processes across regions.
