Technical Sales Manager for cutting-edge production 

Are you ready to step into the role of Technical Sales Manager, being at the forefront of selling a brand-new product and supporting our customers to maximise mutual benefits?

From the ground up, you will be part of building up the sales function with the support from CRH management. You will be a visible part of the location in Hobro.


Make an impact on the new world

As Technical Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in the company’s growth. Your main responsibilities include developing sales to achieve the domestic market share target within the planned timeframe, analysing, expanding and executing the commercial roadmap across all selected customer segments (volume, pricing, margin) in full CRH compliance. Promoting the new product to stakeholders in the concrete and building industry is essential. Additionally, you will drive product technical development, certification, and stay updated on regulations. 
Supporting Marketing and Communication initiatives, monitoring market development, and ensuring the reporting sales KPIs to CRH management are also part of your role. Thanks to your strong team-spirit, your daily collaboration with CRH colleagues will contribute to the collective success of NovaClay.

A selection of your main responsibilities is:
  • Act in full compliance with business and commercial rules, promoting the professional values of NovaClay/CRH.
  • In coordination with the Sales Director Denmark/Benelux, define and implement the sales policy in terms of customers segmentation, prospects selection, volumes allocation and pricing structure setup.
  • Develop sales through top-level customers’ relationships, including frequent contact-points, an active listening and a proactive approach to offer value-added solutions.
  • Set up a reliable sales forecasting/planning process.
  • Report Sales KPIs, define improvement initiatives to maximise sales performance and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Proactively manage customers’ claims through proper interactions with key stakeholders (customers, internal Quality, Production, and Finance departments) to limit financial impact and ensure customers’ retention.
  • Discuss credit limits with Finance department and ensure tracking. 
  • Together with Marketing department, build a Marketing & Communication plan and contribute to its implementation. 
You will report to the Sales Director DK/Benelux.

You are a proactive and dynamic Technical Salesperson with a strong background in concrete, precast or other similar construction products. Your technical education, combined with solid sales experience, will allow you to engage in convincing advisory conversations with customers. 
You have insight into contractual matters, and you are comfortable with negotiations. As an active listener, you understand customer needs, and you have excellent presentation skills and relationship-building abilities. You have a high interest in staying updated on industry innovations, and it is important that you have a high degree of autonomy and dedication to achieve ambitious targets.
