Director of Operations, Group IT

Leadership in an international setup – large international team

Reporting to the Group CIO, you lead the IT Operations in the group. You are responsible for all infrastructure aspects (hosting, networks, clients, security, and cloud solutions). The role offers a responsibility of driving the technical transformation from separate solutions towards a unified IT landscape.

The role combines the management of technologies with the need to lead and motivate people.

There are all in all 50 skilled professionals in IT Operations organized in different teams, each with their own manager. The teams are based at different locations in Denmark and abroad.

The main objectives

• Develop the road map of IT Operations
• Secure the right infrastructure landscape (harmonise platforms and processes across the group and deliver stable IT platforms)
• Lead, coach, motivate, and secure execution
• Optimal use of resources within the given budgets
• Contribute to the overall development of Group IT

Your profile

You already have substantial experience in leading and developing IT Operations in a complex setup. 

The most important skills are:

• A proven track record of managing a large IT team in a cross-country setup
• Cloud solutions, hosting, and network
• The ability to navigate in a corporate environment with many stakeholders
• Merging and transforming IT departments
• SAP experience is an advantage
• English at a professional level
• Conversational German

Ideally, you live in the southern part of Denmark or Northern Germany.
