Aagaard was acquired by the Swedish Nederman Group in 2023 following a successful turnaround. With the acquisition of Aagaard the Nederman Group has strengthened its abilities to deliver clean air solutions within the wood working industry. The Nederman Group was founded in 1944 and is now among the best-performing industrial companies on the Swedish stock market. The Group employs 2,500 people, has sales offices and distributors in 50 countries, and operates manufacturing and assembly in 23 locations across 13 countries.

Aagaard will continue to operate under the Aagaard brand, and from the headquarter in Hadsund which houses both offices and manufacturing the 30 employees deliver a quality product range of dust extraction and filter systems as well as conveyors and silos. The company has a strong market position and develops, produces, markets and mounts complete turnkey systems for the woodworking and furniture industries globally, with a focus on the European market.

The hiring of a new CEO is a natural next step in the company's development and follows the retirement of the current CEO. There is a clear strategy that needs to be further developed in collaboration with the ownership. Adding the comprehensive international Nederman sales network has increased the growth potential of Aagaard significantly.

Successful company with great potential for more growth and development

With reference to the VP Sales EMEA of the Nederman Group, you will represent the company and lead the strategic initiatives and drive growth. You are to lead, develop and inspire your team, and exercise your leadership through the management team. 

With a proven track record in project sales and international business development your tasks include:

  • Develop and execute strategic goals, ensuring clear communication of the strategic direction to all employees.
  • Foster an inclusive and growth-oriented leadership style, ensuring that organisation and competencies support business development.
  • Engage in market-oriented activities such as visiting strategic customers and developing strong customer relationships. Proactively create a network within the industry to understand industry trends and best promote sales efforts and ongoing product development
  • Drive sales work in collaboration with the commercial organisation, identify new customers, negotiate contracts and generate more leads.
  • Oversee the execution and financial management of projects, ensuring successful completion and profitability.
  • Support the optimization of production processes to maximize output levels.
  • Manage financial reporting to the owner, enhancing transparency and facilitating data analysis as full P&L owner.
  • Maintain and expand the company's quality and market position to increase revenue and profitability.

You have extensive C-level experience that has given you an understanding of the entire value chain, and preferably with a track record of successful project sales. 

The CEO will have a well-defined and clear mandate to drive strategic initiatives while at the same time valuing being part of a larger group. You will thrive with the international perspective and the opportunity for close market contact with active involvement in sales and partner engagements.
